zigbee voice transmission

Hey

How useful is ZigBee in Voice transmissions? Can it be used in say a walkie-talkie?

Thanks

Hi,
AFAIK ZigBee isn't made for voice transmission. Although the bandpass foreseen in the standard makes the voice transmission possible, it's not a good Idea to this. There are several other protocols that permits voice.

Hi

I agree. There are better protocols for voice transmission.

I have to use ZigBee though.

Hi,

I know this is necroposting but how far did you get with this in the end? Can you remeber that far back?

Any help would be great
