XP DDK Doesn't support VC++ 6.0 ??

I have a XP DDK toolkit
but When I complie the project with VC++ 6.0

It says doesn't support the current complier?

Is there any workaround??

The ddk has it's own c compiler as part of it's tool set.
Drivers should be written in c and not c++. (although some are).
The ddk uses it's own c compiler because it knows it will produce compliant code.
