Hello all
I am beginner and I wanted to ask about TQFP dimensions.
I want to plug the PIC32MX440F256H (64 TQFP package)
I am going to buy the board in the image attachments:

My questions are:
1. will it fit ?
2. any tips for soldering this TQFP?
3. maybe there are any better methods to put TQFP on proto board?

Any suggestions are welcomed!

1. Yes
2. Go to youtube.com and search "TQFP soldering".
3. The chip needs to be soldered on a board to use it. This is a good approach.

I'm using one of those boards right now. The 0.5mm pitch side is the one to use. Be careful with the pin numbers marked on the board, they only apply to the 100 pin packages so you will have to work out for yourself what numbers relate to the pins on the PIC.

Brian.

I should also mention, there is no correlation between the numbering schemes of each side, i.e., pin #20 on side A is NOT pin #20 on side B.
