Why single-balanced MOS mixers have better IP3 ?

IP3 in mixers

I've been noticing that single-balanced MOS mixers have slightly better IP3 than double-balanced MOS mixers. Anyone have enlightenment as to why that's so?

Double-balanced mixer should have 3dB better IP3 than Single-balanced mixers.

damn i don't have enough points to download it. I downloaded the 1st two chapters though - it's .rar file. How do I convert it into a pdf file so I can view it?
 

IP3 in mixers

You have to download all rar files, then use WinRAR to unzip it at one time.
