i want to learn about interfaceing with computer.

Tomake a proper display which will show the data from the AT89C51 based external kit connected to parallel port.

To give the data to MCU at parallel port by pressing the buttons by mouse.
some body suggest me to learn "C" some say to learn "Q" or "G" or "GW" basic.
please help me how to start.
If there is any site which can give me the tutorail or book or notes related to basic or C

Re: language selection help

There is plenty of info on communicating with a PC.
There are a couple of books in the EBOOK section you might want to look at "Programming the Parallel Port" and "Serial Port Complete".
As for the language, that depends ALOT on what you want to do. If all you want to do is program this one thing and have it run under windows perhaps you should lear VB, but if you want to be able to program other things as well or on other platforms you should choose a language that can do all the things that you want.
Me, I like C, as you can use it anywhere and for anything, but you might like to use a simpler and easier to use language like VB.
