I search popular and cheapest transponder.
I saw Temic(Atmel) , EM.
I would know which one is the most popular family to obtain cheapest tags.

There is a company in Taiwan that makes a range of RFiD tags & readers. Te company is called Goldkey : www.goldkey.com.tw

However, they sell their products via dealers. One of whom is www.sunbest.com.tw

I have used their products. They are quite good and reasonably priced.

The RFid Tags are 64bit Mancester encoded - similar to the EM type.

After few search, it seems there is no leader on the RFID market (TI, Microhip, Atmel, Philips, EM Micro....)

I think contact smart cards distributor is the best way to choose a transponder. Ask them which are best prices and most supported products.
