I am to make an equipment which could work as low as -25 C.

which type of capacitor should i use.

I am using Max232 and electrolyte capacitor.

can electoryltic capacitor be used for low temperature as i read in wiki

wht could be a good choice.

what about tantalum ?

There are several classes in EIA standard.
Buy somethik like X7R, most common at industrial applications.
