hi guys,

need to start in VHDL_AMS...any advice where to begin???

AMS stands for Analog Mixed Signal
so this is not the appropriate forum for this post

However this tutorial will give you a good overview on the language

Yes.. It is possible to Simulate in ModelSim. U can get it at the Xilinx Webpage
 

VHDL_AMS

ModelSim does not support VHDL-AMS.
 

VHDL_AMS

Use SystemVision from Mentor Graphics. It supports AMS.
