What is Visual DSP?

Does it involve programming through a GUI?
Is there any DSP platform which allows programming through a GUI?

All of the following are developement tools with GUI in windows9x/nt.
visual dsp2.0 ,3.0
Ti ccs 2.0 for c5000 ,c2000,etc.

I have worked with VDSP++ 2 and 3: is a nice IDE (not at the same level of Code composer for TI processors) but VDSP++ 2 has a lot of bug. Currently I'm using the trial version of VDSP++ 3 and it seems that many bugs have been fixed but still there is something to be improved.
By the way try it, is very nice.
