Hi All, if we want to design the implantable electronics systems, what is the upper limit for the VCC? Some of the general purpose integrated circuits require +10V and -10V supply, can this kind of devices be used for implantable devices? Any kind of references files are highly appreciated!

No doubt your device is totally sealed? You probably are aware the flesh cannot be in contact with 10V. Just touch your tongue to a 9V battery and feel it sting.

If the device can be sealed by some encapsulation materials to be isolated with the cells/tissues, will it be possible to be powered up by + and - 10V?
