What is the milkyway in asic flow?

what is this milkyway, how does it comes in asic flow?

it is just layout database of synopsys

Milky way is just the way of preapering the data base for the for the tool to do the manipulations that is related to the synopsys data base.
it is the process of creating the database by giving various standard cell libraries, technology files etc.

Milyway is the sort of lib format which the synopsys is using almost all tools under XG mode . It has more efficient run time and less memory space
