experts in perl r highly paid n it becomes vry complicated as u go into details...
industry expects u to understand requirements n write scripts for automations ..

Makes life easy. But you can live without it. And spend your Weekends in office doing something u r machine could have done in a jiffy.

A sensible designer always writes a perl wrapper.

Its something akin to cocholate wrapped in silver foil.

PERL (Programmable expert Report language ) Important Script language in VLSI. It is more impt do automate the process. To save the log files, aligning. It is more compact than Tcl, shell etc

perl is used for automation of the frond end vlsi flow. this automation can also be acheived by tcl/tk......i have attached an e book for perl
