What is process design kit (pdk)?

what is pdk(process design kit) , what is this exactly tool or library , in what way physical design engg uses it.

what is pdk

Hi,
PDK is the library information which contains .libs , and schematic,layout data files...., We require this if u use virtuoso layout editor (CADENCE) of mainly custom design tools.

It contains Capacitive and resistive models also for different corners (strong,weak,nominal)

what is pdkˉ

is it that technology files, Pcells and whatever things we require for drawing layouts can be obtained from this pdk ?
