I am drawing the layout by Cadence.
After the DRC, there are some warnings. "Hot nwell"

How can i solve this problem.

cadence hot nwell

which tool r using ?ic5033 or custom virtuso or other?

hot n-well

Usually, hot n-well in nwell that is not connected to VDD.
You should check that the Nwells are connected correctly to VDD. If you want to connect the nwell to different potential,I think that you can ignore the warning.

"hot nwell" is the well that's left floating or say not connected to vdd. this could result in a forward biased pepi-nwell junction, which in trun could lead to latch-up.

Re: hot nwells

There are two things here ..

1. Cold Well
2. Hot Well

Cold Well : refers to the N-well in which we connect the Bulk to Vdd rail .

Hot Well : refers to the N-well in which we connect the Bulk to another source/drain .. but not to Vdd / Vss

Hoe this helps ...
