Hello all,
Can anyone help to explain the so called "auto tracking" operation concept?
Thanks in advance!

Re: What is auto tracking operation in power supply applicat

In some power supplies you have 2 independent blocks so you can use them as independent power, +/- with 0V operation, U1 + U2 operation etc.
Usually there will be a switch to select option.
One of options is "auto tracking" which means that if you adjust voltage of first block the other block is automatically adjusted to the same voltage ie. tracks/follows the first block .. so you have two almost identical outputs ..
