Hi all,
What are the pros and cons of having a current mirror load in a diff pair instead of say just resistors?

Thanks

Re: Diff Pair

Pros: Gain, Swing, Output resistance
Cons: Addtition of parasitic Caps., Nonlinearity

Generally speaking, an active load will give you a huge resistance without limiting the voltages while just think of the voltage drop across a 100 k resistance with a current of say 1mA.

Cheers
