Virtuoso XL .. how to invoke?

Hello

i want to use synthesis using Virtuoso XL tool from Virtuoso schematic,

What are the prerequisties or setup required to do?

Should I edit something in the .cdsinit ? Or add something to $PATH in my .bashrc ?

I think it's found in the vxlhelp.pdf manual, but i coudln't find it there..

Anyone did it before, please help..
