spi flash memory

hello,

I've designed, an SPI core for code loading on my chip. Now i have to test it in the master mode. for that i m looking for a Spiflash (ex. winbond ) interface.

If any one has a verilog code for that, I would be really really grateful.

thanks in anticipation

Re: spi flash memory

i need to have both actually ...

I2C i already have ... and SPI is the one i've to test ...

Hi rockgird,

You can use the following SPI Verification IP:

http://syswip.com/spi-verification-ip

It is not SPI flash model but you can use it to model any SPI masters or slaves.
Best Regard,
Syswip.

hi all,
I designed an SPI interface and want to integrate an spi flash memory to it.Actually I’m a bit confused about something

All the memories I find with the needed specs (16Mbits, 100Mhz) have 24 bits address space but organized in 8 bits address
The 24 bits address space is designed to have 3 memory addresses if I want to read a data array… so it’s like a start and an end
The address I have is a 20 bits address.. do you have any idea if by any means I could work with the 8 bit address space or not???

THANKS

You can get them freely from FLASH vendor's wedsits

Some flash vendors supply relative sim model, like MXIC,Spansion, Micron. You could find relative sim model on the website.
