Hi, everyone, could I ask something about VCO loop gain? HBT is used for the design.

I used OscTest of ADS to simulate the VCO loop gain and got the result as hte attachment showed. In the figure we can see there is hopping of the loop gain. I am wondering what is reason and if there is any effect on the oscillation.

The VCO core with OscTest is also attached.

I have also simulated the capacitance of the combination of Le1, Cvar and Le2. The result is attached. I did not see any abnormal behavior of the capacitance.

Anyone knows why is there hopping of the loop gain and what is its effect on oscillation?

Thank you very much!!!
