Hi friends,

I have some old PC PSU's lying under my computer table and I was wondering if I can use one of them for charging a 12 V SLA battery, as a computer PSU offer a clear and regulated power output, and might prove to be a decent battery charger.

Any one who might have tried it or have any idea? :?

A battery charger needs a CV/CI characteristic. CV 13.8-14.4 V, CI according to the battery spec. A PC PSU usually offers none of these features.
