Hi,

I am making a research about USB 3.0 vs. USB 2.0 and I am quite confused about the term "dual simplex". In USB 3.0 Specification, it's mentioned that its data interface is a dual-simplex and bi-directional. I know that simplex means a permanent uni-directional transmission, and 'dual' means that I can send two sent of data instead of one set at a time. So, how can dual simplex be bi-directional?

Thanks in advance,

Dual simplex simply means two separate lanes, one upwards, one downwards.
