Hi All,

I have this device that internally connected with two wire on a single pad and lead. If one wire is broken, the device can pass the electrical testing. It can also pass the diode continuity test.

Any idea on how to detect broken wire in electrical testing if the 2 wire bond connection only loose 1 bond?

Just wonder if there is a chance to create a short for the two crossing bond wires in the picture.

At first place, why is there a need to connect two wires on a single pad and frame? Current density purpose?

is the 2-wired-bond pad a clk pad ?
You could set the top-pad and bottom pad different value to make sure the bond is ok.

If the double bond wire has a electrical significance, it should be observable also by precise measurements, either s11 with a VNA or possibly DC resistance. Most likely, a special test fixture and/or additional equipment is required.
