TV Philips 21PT5420 question

21pt5420 service

During changing channels the sound volume is lowered. When channel is selected the sound level returns to it's normal level after about a minute. Is it normal?
 

I needed that information because it seemed to me as abnormal behaviour.
I requested replacement and new TV set is behaving as I wanted. Audio level return delay is only few seconds.
