Hi there,
I opened a layout file in Cadence Virtuoso, but I can only see mask layer. Could somebody tell me how to open other layers such as metal 1, 2 ,3 ,,..and other active layers? How to turn on/off some layers?

Thanks.

Tom

You can do so from Layer Selection window (LSW). It should popup when you open any layout view.

Thank you for your prompt response.
From LSW, I can go to EDIT---SET VALID LAYERS
I found that some layers have several options. For example, I saw met3 dg,met3 d4,met3 pn,met3 by,met3 ll....Do I need to choose all of them?

When I look at a layout, for some specific part, how can I know which layer it is?

Thank you. I really appreciate your help.
