voltage divider 3.3 2.5

Hello all!
I want to conevert a ttl level signal to 3.3 or 2.5 V.
I was wondering if a basic voltage divider could do the job?

Is it really necessary a smart Ic for this conversion?

Best regards!

Check out circuit from the attached picture .. and connect ENABLE to the lower voltage (3.3 or 2.5V) ..

How fast does your converter need to be, and how much load current does it need to drive?

My converter needs to ensure a min 20MHz freq and load form 5-10mA!

your best call is a digital switch - see NC7SZ384 for a single gate or P5C3244 for 8 switches. They are very good as level translators.

Hope it helps.
