Hello.
I am a swimming coach and an electrical engineering student. That is my question: At swimming workouts we (coaches) having hard time to trace out swimmers performance. Now days we have only the stopwatch. Old stop watch is good but it cannot track where the swimmer goes slow – it shows only overall time. I need to track swimmers speed and performance in every moment of the workout. I want to build a self –updating data base that will show me at every moment swimmer name, velocity, distance Inc.
I want to build a sensor with camera (DSP) or any other sensor so I will be able to track my swimmers speeds and distance in any moment in the workout.
Do you guys have any idea what can I start with? What sensors do I need?
Thanks for help
Michael.
