hello!
how the pic16f84 tmr0 module increase? In data sheet it says that with instruction cycle? i cant understand wot they means by instruction cycle? is instruction cycle is machine cycle or it is clock cycle i mean 1 clock tick = to 1 instruction cycle or it is 4 clock ticks = 1 instruction cycle = 1 machine cycle
thanking you in anticipation
danny

Hi,
For PIC, 4 clock ticks = 1 instruction cycle = 1 machine cycle. So the value of TMR0 increases with each 4 clock ticks, so it increases with each instruction cycle, which means each machine cycle.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.
