Hello,
I have a oscilloscope Tektronix 2246 ModA and he has a problem, unfortunately.

Grid on the screen as opposed to raster, and it creates a luminescent material that he said about "measured" and Cursors / just measured values correspond to the raster phosphors, rather than the physical screen raster / - see: https://img689.imageshack.us/i/dsc02391q.jpg/ https://img689.imageshack.us/i/dsc02396bk.jpg/

Do you know what it might be? How do you fix it?

OT: That "line" / is always less clear / I can see the photos of the sine / I do not think cursor / is a "ray of what is returned? I almost trace the channel to a minimum brightness.

That the dotted cursor in the car mód unìkdy "affect" peak-peak values / peak / signal is measured over a bug? They must be over a millimeter, thereby increasing peak-peakp value seems / but I do not know, maybe not / -?? .

Thanks
Tomas

Hi nnntomas,
Interesting problem, but I diont have some idea...
Maybe you have more luck at "Tek forum from yahoo"?
I found these "Tek User groups" address ca. 2 years ago, but I dont know if it is working yet...:YahooTEK-Forum!

Good luck!

Try readjusting the grid bias which seems way to high so the Z amp cannot blank the trace. Set intensity to 10 o'clock and turn grid bias trimpot that trace is visible, not bright.
