synopsys has systemC compiler. Candence also provide simular product.

Yes synopsys provides the compiler,
my question is however about SCV, not the systemC itself.
I have problem compiling it under mandrake 9.2 ( g++ 3.3.1 ) any body can help? it seems that they have written the package only for thos really old redhat 7.2 and 7.1 distributions.

Dose it not use GNU C++ compiler?

Do you want to synthesis SCV?????????

You are correct. SCV can not be compiled on mandrake 9.2
