hi,
I'm trying to build a device that can switch between two computers into a projector.
The output from one computer will be displayed from the projector. but when I switch, the other computer output should be connected to the projector. Is there any way to achieve this?
(Not talking about buying a KVM switch or anything. I want this to be home made DIY)

here's a representation of what i want.
Please help me how to build this switch.

thank you.

You hit the nail on the head when you said KVM switch. You should see if you can find any schematics on them. There are some IC's out there also https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ts5v522c.pdf **broken link removed**

Just skimming over them those might be what you are looking for but need to do more research.

Thank you for your information.

I have a question.. Why cant I simply use 6 relays or transistors to switch the VGA source to the projector?
