Hello all,

Can someone tell me how can we select a suitable receiver architecture for 10Ghz micro-strip technology !!

For example: between super-heterodyne and homodyne receiver architecture

I appreciate your help,

Thanks in advance,

N

Hi,

No any Idea about the title ??

if u will use a single chip solution on board , direct conversion receiver will be suitable one
for complete direcrete realization , the most suitable is super-heterodyne receiver is the best

khouly

How can we verified about what you have written ?

if the design is in micro-strip, how can we know which type of architecture ?

Thx

For example, If we use a super-heterodyne which i thing a suitable in micro-strip technology, how can we draw:

The gain of the receiver circuit
The NF
The IIP3
..etc

The receiver is based on : 1. BPF, 2. LNA , 3.IRF (BPF), 4. mixer and finally the 5. IF filter.

Thank you so much.

Of course in ADS sof, since i have maked the diffrent bloc but i did know how can i proceed!!

Note that:

port1: RF input signal

port 2:IF output signal

and port 3: LO input signal

I'm looking for how can we calculate the BER in ADS?

is there schematic circuit ?

what about sensitivity ? selectivity ?

can someone suggest ?
