in constructing the first amplifying stage of an EEG system

I intended to use TLC072, but I just can't have it immediately what other OPs that

give similar performance that I might replace 072 with?

Many FET amplifiers are similar to, some better than TLC072. Particularly low noise audio FET OP (e. g. OPA134) would be suitable for an EEG amplifier. The available power supply and resulting common mode range should be considered however. CMOS amplifiers should be avoided due to higher low frequency voltage noise.
