Hi everyone.

I have been assigned to design and build a Split Post Dielectric Resonator including a simulation using either HFSS or CST.

I can only find information on Split Ring resonators on here but nothing on Split Post. I was wondering if anyone has any experience in this at all?

Any help would be much appreciated..

Please ask for more detail about the project if required.

Many Thanks,

Shaz..

Hi,

Sorry about the delay in replying to the thread.

Yes thats the sort of thing im working on. I've seen the Agilent page as well as many other pages on split post info. However Im looking for info on the dimensions of the device in relation to the frequencies I am required to work on (~ 1Ghz to 5Ghz).

As well as this, has anyone previously carried out this or a similar project or has any experience in HFSS or CST regarding this or something similar?

Many Thanks
