three wire method chinese version

Hi, I am just starting microcontrollers.

:idea:I would like to write to a 1kb EEprom Smart Card.
The text below the $2 smart card says ; "Standard Byte Addressing, with three wire serial bus;

The cards also come with a holder or socket here

What is the name of the protocol ?

Could someone provide a link or quick explanation how I go about programming a smart card to start me off ?

I am looking at AVR8535 Bascom, Picaxe and Propellor Spin. Any comments on those three chips also appreciated.
Thanks.,
ML:D:|:cry::?:
