Dear friends,

Will be any difference in op-amp peerformance and characteristics if I use to connect it with single supply operation or dual supply ?
I am using the 3.3 V CMOS technology in my design
for single supply I use VDD = 3.3 V and VSS = 0 V
for dual supply it should be VDD=1.65 V and VSS = -1.65 V

Thank you
Best Regards

Short answer: as long as it is biased within its common-mode input range, it makes no difference.

Hi,

My answer:
Since the Opamp has no GND pin ... it simply does not know whether it is dual or single supplied.
--> There is no difference in operation.

Thus every Opamp can be operated in single supply mode as well as in dual supply mode.

It's just a different point of view.

Klaus
