Hello All,

I'm designing a new kind of TEM line filters (combline) which involves some lumped elements. Can this be simulated in HFSS. I dont have designer with me. If HFSS is not capable of doing this what might be a suitable workaround ?

Look into the setting of impedance boundaries. The on-line help has some guidance and I have had a number of helpful discussions on the subject with the Ansoft application engineers.

Hi ,
you can use lumped elements in the electromagnetic simulation , also you can refer to Swanson book
