Does anyone have any hint/idea on what would be the best way to simulate
an anode foil or a mesh anode with cst particle studio?

Making a design with many small cylinders so as to essentially recreate an anode mesh,
and with appropriate denser local meshing, is increasing a lot the problem dimensions.
I was wondering if there is some better way to do that.
The main idea is a plane that retains a zero potential, but allows any particle current to pass through it.
