What will happen If I sandwiched a signal layer b/w two power planes?

In more,If the signal return path on power planes means what will happen? Pls share if you have any reading documents related to this.

A signal with 2 adjutant planes is called a stripline.
It travels with a lower speed than a microstrip. Has better EMI immunity and reduced crosstalk effects.

Yes but my question is what will happen on the signal if its have return path on power plane.

Usually we make the return paths with nearest gnd plane. Thanks for your help

I agree with mishrashashi, power plane can be your return path, but still you have to avoid split on the trace.

Partially disagree with mishrashashi.
Using power plane as return path is same as using ground plane. I don't see why there will be more signal integrity issues (reflection noise, crosstalk,emi/emc) versus ground plane.
