hello

this is my first post

i need help...im stucked

i want to know if i can use SPI or I2C simultaneously with USART

example: i want to communicate 2 PIC16F877 or 2 PIC18F2550/4550 via SPI or I2C one as master and the other as slave...but the master must communicate with the slave and send data via SERIAL PORT to the PC

this is an idea of what i want

i will appreciate your help

bye people

Hello KrAK3N,

my opinion is that you can use both at the same time.

USART uses SPBRG as clock. SPI/I2C use the Fosc with prescallers, or TMR2, as clock.

Hence, you can use both modules at the same time.
