scope specicification

Hello,
I bought this scope as the catalog said it was suitable for mains use

Velleman HPS10

**broken link removed**

..but on page 28 it says that it can only handle max input voltage of 100V peak...

so how can it handle mains voltages?

Also, i want to scope across the switching MOSFET in an offline flyback converter connected to the Rectified 240V mains.

Do you know how i can do this with this scope?..

I dont wish to use a potential divider as it is a valley switching flyback and i must not interfere with the circuit in order to properly see MOSFET drian voltage oscillation.

Re: scope specicification

You can use a 10x probe and measure 1 kV and a 100x probe and measure 10 kV.

Both of these values assume that the probe is rated for these voltages.
