S8050 with IR Transmitter

How to use the S8050 transistor with the Ir led transmitter to amplify the signal to higher rage.

what is your battery and Led spec?
The transistor should be used with only a current gain of 10. Higher rated devices will have a lower ESR and drop voltage.

Collector-emitter saturation voltage VCE
(sat) IC
= 500mA, IB
= 50 mA 0.6 V
Base-emitter saturation voltage VBE
(sat) IC
= 500mA, IB
= 50 mA 1.2 V
