Hi 2 all,

why we are using external clock 32.786KHz for function of RTC?why won't we get 32.786KHZ frequency using control registers which is inbuilt?

Thanks in advance

Because the accuracy will be rubbish for a built in microcontroller clock. Fine for non-critical timing, no good for a real clock.
