RN131G Wifi module UART and PIC microcontroller

Hello

I am working with RN131G and PIC Micro controller.

I have only module of RN131G with me. I want to use its UART mode with PIC.

If i connect only RX, TX, VDD, GND pin connect to the PIC with hand solder.

Is it work properly?

The RN-131 WiFi module is a 3.3v device, 3.0v to 3.7v Vdd or 2.0v to 3.3v Vbatt.

The module is NOT 5v tolerant, therefore proper level translation will need to be employed if your PIC is operating at 5v.

Also be aware the Sensor pins are only 1.2v inputs and are NOT 3.3v tolerant, while GPIO, TX and RX are all 3.3v tolerant.
