Removing Epoxy Silkscreen Ink?

Strange Question: Does anyone have experience on removing the white epoxy legend ink from PCBs? I have a customer who wants to remove some of the markings.

ask the PCB manufacture, they should konw

The boards must be repaired from solder mask to next processes. It'll be a big project.
 

white epoxy ink

remove silkscreen and soldermask chemically, then re-apply green. It's available in spray can.
 

epoxy silkscreen

it can be removed by medicinal liquid,but the soldermask may be destroyed at the same time, so you need to repair the soldermask then. the manufacture can do it.
