Dear Dudes,

I need a small clearance.

Generally there are two skews positive and negative.

Also a equation is

T+Tskew= Tc2q+Tcombo+Tsetup

So if i get a postive skew my time period comes down hence frequency increases
Since T= Tc2q+Tcombo+Tsetup-Tskew

similarly if i get nagative skew my time peroid goes up hence decrease in Frequency.

But i heard postive skew decreses frequency and neagtive skew increases frequency

.which is correct

Clear me

hi

your first statement is correct, with postive skew, there is more time to the signal to reach the destination for setup slack analysis so the time period decreases.

but it may violate hold slack

and the skew effect very little on frequency of operation.

Hai pramod,

you mean to say if postive skew , so time period comes down hence frequency increases.

hope what i understood is right
