hi all!

Any good reference paper for cmos peak detector that can detect the peak at 1 Gbps?

Thanks in advance!

peak detector

so fast rate
can detector be precise?

peak detector

if the peak is at 1GHz, what is the carrier frequency?

peak detector

The key thing is how accurate u want the detector to be? And what kind of signal u want to detect?

Robert Mayer has a paper on jsscc for peak detector.
Robert G. Meyer; Low-power monolithic RF peak detector analysis, IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, vol. 30, pp. 65 - 67, January 1995.

It may helps.
