Dear Friends,

Can anyone tell me how RF transceiver can be designed to a particular range.

with regards,

Start by establishing the requiermenrs. Sklar's book "Digital Communications and Freeman's "Radio system Design" are places to start.

One of the key elements is something called a "link budget".

What kind of data you are trying to transmit? Music, video or data? It is hard to tell you the answer because it is application dependent. If you want to transmit a high bit rate data, you may need to use higher frequency with high bit rate modulation.
