Hi Experts,

I am designing a basic LC Double mode resonator in ADS which is able to resonate at 1.96 GHz. I have designed a basic circuit setup as shown in the picture attached. My Questions are as follows:

1. Since I am only modelling a cavity resonator, do i have to include Transmission Line parameteres. I have included them in my design using line calc and MSUB. suggestion needed.

2. Also I need to separate the two modes by a small amount say 30 or 60 MHz apart, What wud u suggest to do for this matter as when i tune carefully the capacitances etc. The Transmission curves goes flat and transmission zeros in reflection plot are also not good. Suggestions needed.!!
