hello, guys,

I have a PCB circuit to convert a 2.5GHz PRBS voltage signal into a PRBS current signal at frequence of 1.25GHz, how should i choose the PCB trace width, someone says 0.3~0.5mm is good for low capacitance and some others say 1mm is good for low resistance.

If I make the trace length less than 4mm, which is less than 1/10 of the wavelength at 1.25GHz, then I donot need to make any impedance match with the PCB trace for the 50Ohm? just put a discreat 50 Ohm resistor next to the trace to do the impedance match job?

Thank you
