Requires Quartus II software version 5.1. This critical issue patch is available for Quartus II subscription edition and Quartus II web edition software.
Resolves issue for designs that use encrypted intellectual property (IP) cores which may fail to compile in Quartus II software or fail functionally in simulation or hardware. The issue is caused by a failure to detect changes to encrypted IP core source files generated by SOPC Builder or IP Toolbench.
